OVERVIEW

Workshop 4 examines the negative impact being imprisoned can have on an individual's mental health before, during, and after their time in prison

This is particularly important because the majority of the prison population struggles with mental health issues. Due to prison overpopulation, the chance of getting the right support is slim which could lead to more long-lasting issues.

Participants will understand the variety of ways in which the experience of prison impacts mental health.
